In December 2015, thirteen major real estate companies, including SOFERIM who created the Drawing Hotel, signed the charter 1 immeuble, 1 oeuvre (‘One Building, One Artwork’). They thereby committed themselves to acquiring an artwork for every building and renovation program.

At the request of Jean Papahn, SOFERIM’s chairman, the artist Stéfane Perraud created a unique work entitled Dessins hautes fréquences (‘High Frequency Drawings’) for the building’s façade.

Stéfane Perraud, a visual artist initially associated with performance and multimedia art, has been making plastic art since 2008. He examines the impasses and difficulties of science and technology through a continual interchange between the plastic and performing arts. To improved understanding of the present, his work involves a forward-looking approach that appears like archeology from the future. One of his favorite subjects focuses on how light is related to both knowledge and disaster, symbolically as well as scientifically, technically and aesthetically.

Through various electronic techniques and light programming, he produces sculptural, visual work that interacts with the viewer.
